Christmas Party Ideas

Nov 13,2014 BY

We’ve come up with a few Bristol based Christmas venue ideas so you, your friends and colleagues can enjoy a truly merry Christmas.

Party at the Zoo

How about having taking the traditional Christmas party to the zoo for a truly wild time. Bristol Zoo is a great venue for a Christmas party. Enjoy the jungle soundtrack, animal themed cocktails, fabulous locally sourced ingredients and animal masks provided. After that you can let your crazy moves out on the dance floor.

Winter Wonderland

Maybe you would prefer escaping to a winter wonderland for an evening. ‘Paintworks’, Bristol’s Creative Quarter holds a winter wonderland event from Friday 6th to Friday 20th December. The space they provide has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland thanks to its beautiful décor. After some great food and drink you can throw some moves with a DJ and a live band who perform throughout the night.

A Nutcracker Christmas

You could let your inner child out if you decided to have your Christmas party in Brunel’s Old Station in Temple Meads as they’re hosting ‘A Nutcracker Christmas’. The station is a fantastic Grade 1 listed Victorian building and is one of the largest event venues in the South West, on top of that it is one of the oldest stations in the world. Brunel’s original adjoining Passenger Shed is now an atmospheric event venue. In the past the Passenger Shed has been transformed into a ‘Dickens Christmas’,   ‘Narnia Christmas’ and a ‘Cirque De Christmas’. This year’s event is sure to transport you into a world of magic and mystery.

A Starlight Christmas

If you want to have a night of red carpet treatment then ‘A Starlight Christmas’ held in the stunning great hall of Bristol Grammer School might be right for you. The party is packed full of entertainment; there’s a live band, Elvis Vegas Ballroom Karaoke, a disco, a casino and much more. In addition you get a delicious three course meal, your own paparazzi and a spectacularly decorated room.

Traditional Christmas Party

The final setting we could suggest is the intimate and friendly Racks Bar & Kitchen. In this venue you would enjoy a traditional and relaxed Christmas party. Their Christmas menu will literally make your mouth water and you won’t be able to complain about the choice at the bar, they have over 40 different types of cider, beer and local ale and a wide selection of wines and champagnes. The cosy and quirky venue can also accommodate a DJ or a live band.

We hope you can all eat, drink and be merry this Christmas and should you require any transport to a venue be sure to give us a buzz on 0117 965 0000.
