There is one time a year that everyone in the UK picks up a tennis racket and goes to their local tennis court to have a game with friends and that’s when Wimbledon is on. Tennis fan or not people can’t help but get Wimbledon fever including Bristol city council!
The big Wimbledon screen for sports fans will once again return to Bristol in Millennium Square where you can watch all of the action outdoors in the sun with a live feed from BBC1/BBC2. This year is a special year however as for the first time since 1977 we are cheering on a player from Great Britain to defend their title, Andy Murray, so make sure that you come down to show your support!
If the weather continues then it will be a fantastic day for the whole family, along with watching the tennis you can also browse around the several shops in the area and visit the nearby restaurants and places of interest.
